Machines for roasting and peeling nuts
Roasting is the process in which residual humidity is removed from the nut and its flavor and final aroma is defined. Peeling allows any skin, remaining on the nut, to be removed after roasting. Roasting in Mia Food Tech’s roasters is performed using a traditional, yet innovative system: the roasting drum, that ensures continuation with tradition, is heated via specific electric heating elements, thus allowing ultra-precise control of the temperature and reduced energy consumption. Peeling is also performed with a combined system of paddles and compressed air that ensure excellent results without damaging the external appearance of the nut.
