Machines for pre-refining of nuts
The process in which nuts (whole or roasted) are transformed into a coarse paste measuring about 250-300 microns. The resulting product can be used as a semi-processed product for the production of pastes and spreads or as a final product (pesto). Pre-refining is performed with a combined mechanical process that transforms the whole nut (hazelnut, almond, pistachio, etc.) from a solid state into a semi-liquid coarse paste.
